Yasmin Bhatia has served as CEO of Uplift Education since May 2009, expanding the organization from 15 schools with 3,500 students to 45 schools serving over 22,000 students. Under Yasmin's leadership, Uplift has pioneered several innovative initiatives, including the first district-charter partnership school in North Texas and the creation of a comprehensive social counseling and mental health program for students. Prior to this role, Yasmin was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company from 2003 to 2009, where expertise was applied to retail, consumer goods, and transportation clients in growth strategy and operational optimization. Yasmin holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BBA in Finance and Business Honors from The University of Texas at Austin.
