Margaret Scanio, SPHR, currently serves as the Human Resources Business Partner at UPG Enterprises LLC, where responsibilities include collaborating with the President of the Structural Division and managing the Human Resources team for two companies. Prior to this role, Margaret worked as an HR Consultant at Wayne State University, focusing on policy design, staffing, performance management, and labor relations. Previously, Margaret held the position of Human Resource/Labor Relations Director for the City of Hamtramck, overseeing HR functions and contract negotiations with bargaining units. Earlier career experiences include roles at Guardsmark as a Relationship Manager and as part of the new account transition team. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Administration in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University.
