Daniel Ruddock has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Daniel currently holds the position of Audience Editor at Mediahuis IRL since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at upday, a popular news app, as a News Editor from May 2018 onwards. In this role, they curated top stories for the UK and Ireland editions, made decisions on breaking news stories, and worked to strict deadlines.

Daniel Ruddock's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Politics and Economics from University College Dublin, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. Daniel also pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management at the same university from 2014 to 2015. Later on, from 2017 to 2018, they studied Sports Journalism at St Mary's University, Twickenham. Additionally, Daniel attended Kilkenny College from 2004 to 2010, but it is unknown whether they earned a degree or studied a specific field there.
