Rick Lottenbach joined Updata Partners in 2023 and is the Controller. Prior to joining Updata, Rick was a Senior Director in the Federal Tax team at Alvarez and Marsal where he focused in the private equity and real estate industries.

Rick graduated from the University of Richmond with a B.S in Accounting. He also graduated from the University of Virginia with an M.S. in Accounting-Tax. Rick is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Virginia.
