Andy Summerfield has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Andy started their career at Telefonica O2 in 2006, serving as Corporate Sector Head until December 2010. Following this, they joined EE as a Corporate Sales Director from October 2010 to March 2016. From April 2016 to September 2019, Andy worked at BT as the Managing Director, Corporate. In 2020, they founded and became the Managing Director of AMS Communications Ltd. In 2022, Andy took on the role of Investment Director at Elbow Beach Capital, and in 2023, they joined UPP as a Non Executive Director.

Andy Summerfield attended Newcastle University from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a BA Hons degree in Economics.
