Vanessa Vazquez is an experienced professional in the fields of mental health and community service. Currently serving as an Intake Coordinator and Bilingual Therapist at the Union of Pan Asian Communities (UPAC) since June 2021, Vanessa previously worked as a Graduate Assistant at the Latinx Resource Center at San Diego State University from August 2020 to May 2021. Earlier roles include Client Experience Coordinator at Olive & June, Program Coordinator at Kitty Bungalow-Charm School for Wayward Cats, and HealthCorps Coordinator at HealthCorps. Vanessa began their career as an Americorps Member at AltaMed Health Services. Vanessa holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Society & Environment from the University of California, Berkeley.
