Nicola Munarini is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in capital formation and private equity. Currently serving as Partner of Capital Formation at UP.Partners since October 2024, Nicola previously held the same title at Tapestry VC from July 2023 to September 2024. As the Founder and Managing Director of Millers Group from August 2017 to June 2023, Nicola focused on investing in and building start-ups with a commitment to “force for good” principles. Additional roles include Investment Manager at ADIA, where a focus on private equity transactions was maintained, and Entrepreneur in Residence at Rocket Internet GmbH, where operations for an eCommerce platform were set up. Early career experiences include positions at 3i Group plc and Mediobanca, contributing to expertise in private equity and M&A transactions. Educational qualifications include a degree in Business Administration from Università di Trento and a course in Design Thinking and Innovation from Harvard Business School.
