Samuel Tisi, MSc has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Research Assistant role at the Radiation Protection Bureau in 2007. Samuel then worked as a Research Assistant for the ACE Satellite Mission in 2008 and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in 2009. In 2013, they were a SCUBA-2 Data Reduction Support for the University of Waterloo's Department of Physics and Astronomy. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Quantitative Security Analyst at TD, followed by roles as an Analyst, Senior Data Scientist, and Lead Data Scientist at Deloitte Canada. Most recently, they have been a Deep Learning Engineer at Untether AI since 2022.

Samuel Tisi obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics from the University of Waterloo in 2013. Samuel had previously obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics from the same university in 2010. In 2021, they obtained an AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2020, they obtained a Dataiku Core Designer from Dataiku.
