Alfred Hauenstein is a highly experienced professional with extensive expertise in product lifecycle management and innovation. Currently serving as Corporate VP for PLM and Innovation Excellence at Siemens, Alfred oversees the Siemens Development System and PLM processes, focusing on lean and agile operations. With a strong background in leadership development and competence management, Alfred has held various roles at Siemens since 1993, including head of PLM Excellence and director positions in new business initiatives. In addition to corporate responsibilities, Alfred contributes to academia as an honorary professor at Tongji University and has served as a guest lecturer at the Technical University of Munich. Alfred's diverse educational background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and an MBA from Duke University.
