Lizeth Palencia C currently serves as the Regional Head of Latin America and Head of Spanish Latam at Principles for Responsible Investment, with experience in the Science Based Targets Network as a member of the Expert Advisory Group for the Net Zero Standard for Financial Institutions. Previously, Lizeth held various significant roles, including a member of the Board of Directors at Electrificadora del Meta and the Central de Abastos de Bucaramanga, along with leadership in finance and energy portfolios at the Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público. Lizeth has also contributed to the OECD on sustainability policies in corporate governance and has held positions at Banco de Bogotá in international advisory and financial management. Lizeth holds a Master of Public Policy from the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, a B.A. in Economics and Finances from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a BSc in Financial Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga.
