Michela Martini, PhD, is an experienced professional in infrastructure, environmental, social, health, and safety (EHS) management. Currently serving as an Infrastructure and Project Management Senior Analyst at UNOPS since April 2021, Michela provides technical advice on project management resources and has previously held various EHS-focused roles within UNOPS, including EHS System Manager and EHS Senior Analyst. With a background that includes experience as a Sustainability Consultant at Anthesis Group and HSEQ Specialist at Project Health & Safety Services Ltd, Michela has developed a robust skill set in regulatory compliance, sustainability assessment, and capacity building for resilient infrastructures. Michela holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and has contributed to significant projects aimed at enhancing environmental performance in multiple capacities throughout their career.
