Steven Vivas is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a DOJ Fully Accredited Representative for UnLocal, Inc. since May 2023, focusing on the Pro Se Plus Project. Previously, Vivas held similar roles at CARECEN NY and gained valuable experience as a Community Fellow with Immigrant Justice Corps. A former Paralegal at Safe Passage Project, Vivas has also contributed to various initiatives including the Credible Messenger Initiative at the Center for Employment Opportunities and has experience as a Junior Group Leader and Legal Intern. In addition to practical experience, Vivas is pursuing a Doctor of Law degree from City University of New York School of Law, building on a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology obtained from John Jay College.
