Eric Liedtke has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 1994, they began their career at adidas in various roles, including Sweeper and other positions. Eric then worked their way up to become the Director of Footwear Marketing, where they were responsible for the creation, production, and marketing of all footwear introduced in the U.S. Eric continued to progress within the company, serving as the VP of Brand Marketing and later as the SVP of Sport Performance Brand Marketing. In 2011, they became the Head of Sports Performance, overseeing all aspects of sports performance within the organization.
In 2014, Eric Liedtke joined the executive board of adidas as the adidas Brand President and Executive Board Member Global Brands. In this role, they were responsible for all brands, including adidas, Reebok, and Yeezy, as well as key brand functions such as product design, innovation, sustainability, marketing, brand management, and digital brand commerce. Eric played a significant role in resetting the adidas brand by fostering a culture of collaboration and creativity and implementing an open-source model. Eric drove groundbreaking initiatives in material and process innovation, sustainability, and streetwear.
During their time at adidas, Eric Liedtke demonstrated strong leadership and strategic skills. In 2019, they concluded their tenure as the adidas Brand President.
After leaving adidas, Eric Liedtke served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Carbon3D from January 2018 to August 2020. Eric then became a Steering Committee Member at Parley for the Oceans starting in January 2015.
Most recently, in August 2021, Eric Liedtke became the CEO and Co-Founder of UNLESS Collective.
Eric Liedtke attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1988 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism.
