Bilai Joa Silar currently serves as SVP, Head of Programming and AVOD Content for ViX Streaming at TelevisaUnivision since January 2023, and also holds the position of SVP for OTT Content at Univision Communications Inc. since October 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Content for OTT at ViacomCBS Networks International and Content Strategist at Viacom, focusing on partnerships and marketing for Pluto TV in Latin America and US Hispanic markets. Notably, during the tenure at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, Bilai Joa Silar was pivotal in developing and executing the Universo network strategy, enhancing programming and production efforts. A foundational career at Discovery Networks Latin America saw the successful launch of various networks and preschool strategies. Education includes an executive program at UCLA Anderson School of Management and undergraduate studies at the University of Miami.
