LeAna Davis has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as a Utilities Manager for Michigan Property Managers & Michigan Metropolitan Realtors. In this role, they managed utility services and conducted property inspections.

In 2016, they worked as a Student Teacher at University Preparatory Academy Middle School, assisting in creating and conducting English & Language Arts lessons for 8th graders while learning about effective teaching practices.

After that, they joined Hamtramck Academy - National Heritage Academies in 2017 as a Creative Writing Teacher & Reading Interventionist. Their responsibilities included adapting teaching methods, providing one-on-one intervention, and fostering a growth mindset in students.

From 2017 to 2020, LeAna worked at University Prep Schools as an English Language Arts Teacher and later as the Lead Teacher for 7th & 8th grades. LeAna implemented curriculum, used assessments to guide instruction, and motivated the teaching staff to improve strategies and maximize student learning.
