Emmanuel Sarpong

NSBE President at University of Wyoming

Emmanuel Sarpong is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Wyoming, where Emmanuel also serves as the NSBE President and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center of Innovation for Flow through Porous Media. With extensive involvement in professional organizations, Emmanuel holds roles as a Young Student Member and Communication Chairperson for the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Wyoming Chapter, and KNUST Chapter, respectively. Previous experience includes working as a FLTS Implementer and participating in the Graduate Talent Programme at Vivo Energy, serving as Vice President of CASA-KNUST, and acting as a Presiding Officer for the Electoral Commission of Ghana. Emmanuel's early career featured an internship at Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited, where valuable experience in terminal operations management was gained. Emmanuel earned a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and completed the West African Senior School Certificate Examination at St. Augustine's College.
