Alison Mehravari serves as the Managing Director of the AI Education & Research Initiative at the University of Washington's College of Engineering since June 2011, overseeing AI-focused programs and research. In addition to this role, Alison has held various significant positions such as Program Director for BISCCIT, Program Manager for Weill Neurohub North, and Associate Director for the NIH U19 Program, demonstrating expertise in interdisciplinary research and funding management. Earlier experience includes roles at Middlebury College and Cornell University, where Alison engaged in behavioral neuroscience and computational physiology research, complemented by a strong educational background with a Ph.D. in Neurobiology and Behavior from the University of Washington and a B.A. in Neuroscience from Middlebury College.
