Susan Pollart is a prominent academic leader with extensive experience in the field of medicine and education. Currently serving as a Faculty Member at Drexel University's Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine® (ELAM®) since July 2018, Pollart also holds the position of Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development at the University of Virginia since January 2007. Additionally, Pollart has a long-standing association with UVA Health System, starting in February 1989, where roles have included Ruth E. Murdaugh Professor of Family Medicine and various professorships in the Department of Family Medicine. Pollart's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Virginia, a Master's Degree in Epidemiology from the same institution, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from West Virginia University.
