Maria Cunningham started their work experience as a Franchise Owner for The UPS Store in May 2018. In March 2020, they became an Instructor at Pure Barre. Maria then joined the University of Vermont Foundation in January 2022 as a Business Office Coordinator before transitioning to their current role as Assistant Director of Leadership Annual Giving, Academic Health Sciences in December 2022.

Maria Cunningham attended the University of Vermont from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology.
