James Longhurst is the Assistant Vice-Chancellor, Environment & Sustainability at University of the West of England. Prior to this, they were with EAUC, QAA and Advance HE, and Bristol Advisory Committee on Climate Change. James has also chaired the UKRI Strategic Priorities Fund and Clean Air Analysis and Solutions Wave 1 Assessment Panel, as well as being a Conference Co-Chair for Air Pollution 2019.
James Longhurst has a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of Birmingham, a Master of Science in Resource Utilisation and Environmental Science from Aston University, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours in Environmental Science from Plymouth Polytechnic.
