Corazon Abansi serves as a Professor and Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of the Philippines since June 2010, bringing extensive academic leadership to the institution. Prior to this role, Corazon held the position of Vice Chancellor for Academics at De La Salle Lipa from June 1999 to May 2010. Corazon's career began at PEMSEA, where duties were fulfilled as a Project Officer from January 1995 to May 1999. Corazon Abansi earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Natural Resource and Environmental Economics from the University of the Philippines and also studied at the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
