Matthew Proft is an experienced leader in innovation and technology precincts, currently serving as the Director of Precincts at the University of Technology Sydney and previously as the Director of Tech Central at the Greater Sydney Commission. Proft has held key positions in NSW Treasury, managing both the Innovation and Technology Precincts and the Sydney Innovation and Technology Precinct. As a Founding Partner at Globalist Advisory and a former Manager in Investor Familiarisation and Engagement at the NSW Department of Industry, Proft has demonstrated expertise in fostering innovation ecosystems. Educational credentials include a BA in Government and Performance Studies from the University of Sydney and completion of the Leaders Program, Business in Asia at Asialink.
