Cassie Harrex is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in travel and features writing. Since November 2018, Cassie has served as the Editor for Travelways at Australian Community Media while concurrently working as a Features and Special Publications Journalist at Nine. Prior to these roles, Cassie worked as a Freelance Journalist from January 2010 to October 2018, including a position as Senior Writer at Best Recipes and as Global Travel Editor for Intrepid Travel. Cassie's earlier career includes writing positions at Haggie Hepburn and National Express, as well as a journalism role at Key Media. Educational credentials include a Graduate Certificate of Food Writing from the University of Adelaide and dual Bachelor degrees in Journalism and Arts from The University of Queensland, specializing in Photojournalism and Spanish Literature.
