Rosie Cox is the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Sussex, a position held since August 2024. Prior to this role, Rosie Cox had a distinguished career at Birkbeck, University of London, spanning from October 2003 to August 2024, where responsibilities included Head of the School of Social Science, Deputy Dean of the School of Social Sciences, History and Philosophy, and Professor of Geography. Additionally, Rosie Cox served in various capacities such as Assistant Dean for International and Research, and Head of the Department of Geography. Earlier experience includes serving as a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in Human Geography at Coventry University from September 1993 to September 2003. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Geography from Coventry University, a BA in Geography from Newcastle University, and an MA in Geography from the University of California, Davis.
