Elcin Biren is an experienced professional in the field of cybersecurity and information risk management, currently serving as a Cyber and Information Risk Manager at UBS since March 2017, where responsibilities include leading the Defense Capability Framework and assessing technical risks. In addition to this role, Elcin participates as a Guest Lecturer at the University of St.Gallen and serves on the CISO Summit Advisory Board at IDC. Prior experience includes consultancy for IT security at Dinotronic AG, client technology advisory at EMC, and leading audits for IT and security at Sanko Holding, where ISO 27001 compliance was achieved. Educational qualifications were obtained from Middle East Technical University and Istanbul Commerce University.
