Gretchen Meier is an experienced communication professional currently serving as Head of Communications at USC Thornton School of Music and has held various strategic roles at the University of Southern California since August 2005. Notable accomplishments include leading the comprehensive rebranding of USC Student Affairs to USC Student Life, establishing crisis communication standards, overseeing the development of the new USC Student Handbook, and successfully launching student-driven social media content channels. Prior positions include roles as a Digital Communications Specialist at USC Schaeffer Center and News Editor at University Communications, among others. Gretchen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Political Science from the University of Southern California and has completed graduate work in Political Science at California State University, Los Angeles.
