Rebecca Would has worked as the Vice President of Education and Democracy at the University of Southampton Students' Union since July 2023. Previously, they served as the CHEP Student Project Lead at the University of Southampton from March 2022 to October 2022. In 2020, they worked as a Think Pacific Virtual Intern from December 2020 to January 2021.

Rebecca Would obtained a BSc in Geography from the University of Southampton, attending from 2020 to 2023.
Prior to that, they completed their A-levels at Sponne School from 2018 to 2020. Rebecca studied Geography (A), Maths (A*), Further Maths (A), and Chemistry (A).
Rebecca also attended Sponne School from 2013 to 2018, where they completed their GCSEs. Rebecca achieved Grade 9 in Maths and 3 Sciences, and received grades 7 and 6 in French, English Lit/Lang, Drama, and Music, respectively.
In addition to their formal education, Rebecca has obtained various certifications. Rebecca completed courses on "Multidisciplinary study" and "Understanding water quality" at The Open University in September 2021. Rebecca also completed certifications on "Managing Your Time," "The Five Thieves of Happiness (getAbstract Summary)," "Time Management Fundamentals," and "Time Management: Working from Home" through LinkedIn in August 2021. Furthermore, Rebecca completed courses on "Understanding the Environment: Thinking styles and models" in July 2021, and "Climate Change: transitions to sustainability" and "Understanding the Environment: A systems approach" in April 2020, all through The Open University.
