Sarah Schumacher, MPH-PAPH has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Sarah began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center in 2010. Sarah then went on to work as an Intern and Health Educator at Palmetto Health in 2011. In the same year, they also served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of South Carolina Student Health Services, Campus Wellness. In 2012, Sarah became a Diabetes Health Educator at Palmetto Health. Sarah later joined the University of South Carolina as a Research Assistant in 2010 and eventually progressed to roles like Project Director and Academic Program Director. Currently, Sarah is working at the University of South Carolina as the Director of Clinical Exercise Programs and an Instructor.
Sarah Schumacher, MPH-PAPH, received their Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Dance from the University of South Carolina in 2006. Sarah continued their education at the same university and obtained their Master of Public Health degree in Physical Activity and Public Health in 2012. In 2016, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist from the International Society for Clinical Densitometry.
