Michele Facer is an experienced professional in space and asset management, currently serving as the Head of Space & Asset Management at the University of Reading since February 2024. Previously, Michele held the position of Head of Strategic Space Planning at the University of Surrey from September 2017 to January 2024. Michele's career includes significant roles at Unilever, where responsibilities encompassed leading the data strategy for Workplace Services and managing IT systems in Corporate Real Estate. Additionally, Michele worked at Barclays Bank as Vice President for Workplace Effectiveness and at Prudential Assurance as a Business Systems Analyst. Early in the career, Michele gained valuable experience as a classroom teacher. Michele holds multiple degrees from the University of Reading, including an MSc in Facilities Management and an MA in Education.
