Nancy Karibjanian is an accomplished educator and broadcast journalist with extensive experience at the University of Delaware since 2003, where faculty responsibilities include teaching undergraduate Communication and Journalism courses and advising student media. In roles such as Director of the UD Journalism program and Director of the Center for Political Communication, Nancy administers academic offerings, manages fundraising initiatives, and supports civic engagement programs, including the Delaware Debates. Prior experience at WHYY involved positions as News Director, Anchor, Producer, and Reporter, where responsibilities encompassed managing news departments, producing segments, and hosting live broadcasts. Nancy holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Delaware and a Master's degree in Journalism Education from Kent State University, completed in 2023.
