Alex Jo is currently a Research Assistant at the Women's Biobehavioral Health Laboratory and is involved in Directed Research for the Youth and Family Research Program at the University of Pittsburgh since May 2023. Previous experience includes serving as the VP of Administration and Advocacy Chair at University of Pittsburgh and a Clinical Research Assistant at UPMC, where duties involved screening trauma patients, enrolling them in clinical studies, and collecting blood specimens. Alex also has experience as a Scleroderma Research Assistant at UPMC, managing clinical trial documentation, and as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for first-year programs at the University of Pittsburgh. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, alongside a Bachelor of Science in General Education from CIEE, with a high school diploma obtained from John P. Stevens High School.
