Charles Horn, PhD, is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in healthcare analytics and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, Charles focuses on enhancing healthcare through data-driven products and the analysis of clinical data. Previous roles include Senior Data Scientist at ICON plc, where custom machine learning solutions were developed from real-world healthcare data, and Principal Investigator & Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, where Charles led cross-functional teams on significant research projects involving physiological data analysis and contributed to over 25 scientific publications. Charles holds an MBA from Drexel University, a postdoctoral fellowship in Neurobiology from Columbia University, a PhD in Neuroscience from Kansas State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Missouri State University.
