Jessica Jacobson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in social development and research management. Currently serving as Senior Programme Manager for Research & Insights at the University of Oxford since May 2020, Jessica has also held the role of Programme Manager for Research and Insights at the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. Prior to this, Jessica worked as a Senior Technical Specialist in Gender and Social Development at Social Development Direct from January 2012 to April 2020 and completed a social enterprise work placement at Ashoka. Additional experience includes a position as Project Officer at the Girls Empowerment Network, an international affairs internship at Portland Communications, and an internship with the Women's Rights and Africa Divisions at Human Rights Watch. Jessica's academic credentials include an MSc in Anthropology and Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Social Entrepreneurship Programme from GIBS Business School, and a BA in Anthropology with a minor in Gender Studies from Tulane University, complemented by studies at Université Paris-Sorbonne.
