Eric Ligon is the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs at the College of Visual Arts & Design at University of North Texas. Eric has over 25 years of experience in the field of graphic design and has worked with some of the biggest companies in the world, including Dr Pepper / 7UP and JC Penney. In 2004, they co-founded BrailleInk, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing materials with both print and braille in a unique, easy-to-use format that encourages shared reading and promotes braille awareness. Eric served as President of BrailleInk for eight years before joining the University of North Texas in 2012.
Eric Ligon has a MFA in Communication Design from University of North Texas and a BFA in Communication Design from Pratt Institute. Eric also studied Graphic Design at Louisiana Tech University and Captain Shreve High School.
Eric Ligon reports to Karen Hutzel, Dean, College of Visual Arts & Design. They work with and Denise Baxter - Associate Dean for Academic & Student Affairs, College of Visual Arts & Design.
