Sophie Goodwin is currently serving as the Lead Staff - Operations at the Memorial Union Building, managing a team of approximately 40 student employees since February 2021. Sophie also holds multiple roles within the Jeffrey A. Miller Catering as an Assistant Wedding Planner and Site Supervisor. Additionally, Sophie has been involved with the UNH Sustainability Institute since January 2022 in various capacities, including Events and Program Assistant, Administrative Support Intern, and Community, Equity, and Diversity Liaison. In early 2023, Sophie completed a role as a Student Consultant for the UNH Carbon Clinic, focusing on sustainable development and carbon footprint reporting. Sophie's professional experience is complemented by an educational background that includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire, expected in 2024, and a brief study at The University of Edinburgh in late 2023. Sophie's earlier education includes a high school diploma from Strath Haven High School, obtained in 2020.
