Tanya M. Kelley has extensive work experience in various research and administrative roles. From 2019 to the present, they have been the Director of Undergraduate Research at the University of Nevada, Reno, where they support undergraduate students in conducting independent research. Prior to this, from 2011 to 2019, Tanya worked at Arizona State University as a Doctoral candidate and Graduate Research Associate. Tanya also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Michigan in 2016. Tanya has experience in the field of electoral systems, having worked as a William and Kathy Hybl Democracy Fellow at The International Foundation for Electoral Systems in 2015. In addition, they worked as a Research Assistant at The GovLab at NYU in 2013 and as an Executive Assistant at the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records from 2007 to 2011.
Tanya M. Kelley obtained their Ph.D. in Public Administration from Arizona State University between 2011 and 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Public Administration (MPA) and Public Policy (MPP) at the same institution from 2008 to 2011. Tanya also earned a High School Diploma in General Studies from Los Alamos High School in 2004.
