Xu Li is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in environmental engineering. Since January 2009, Xu Li has held various faculty positions at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, progressing from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor and currently serving as a Professor. Prior to this, Xu Li contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan from August 2005 to November 2008 and at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from July 2003 to July 2005. Earlier academic pursuits included a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University between August 2001 and July 2003, and undergraduate studies at Tsinghua University from August 1997 to July 2001. Xu Li obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University.
