Dan Sullivan is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as the Senior Vice President for Student Affairs and Chief Student Affairs Officer at the University of Mount Olive since October 2010. In this role, Dan oversees various Student Affairs departments, including Health Services, Residence Life & Housing, and Campus Safety. Previously, Dan held the position of Dean of Students at Catawba College from June 2003 to October 2010, managing several departments including Career Services and contracted food services. Additionally, Dan served as the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Residence Life at Wofford College from July 1996 to May 2003, where responsibilities included residence hall management and student discipline. Dan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership from Northwest Nazarene University and has completed coursework toward a Curriculum and Instruction PhD at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dan also earned a Master of Education in Student Personnel Services from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
