Nathan Johnson is an accomplished mechanical engineer with diverse experience in automotive and aerospace industries. Serving as a Structures Engineer and Mechanical Engineer on the University of Michigan Solar Car Team, Nathan contributed to the design of structural components such as roll cages and manufacturable steering systems, utilizing advanced software tools like NX Siemens and MSC Adams. Nathan further honed engineering skills during internships at Aster Brands, conducting polyurethane material testing and implementing design improvements, and at Howmet Aerospace, streamlining manufacturing processes for jet engine turbine blades. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Nathan's background includes dual enrollment coursework at Muskegon Community College.
