Jason Miller currently serves as the James Grosfeld Professor and Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center since August 2021, following a clinical and research fellowship at the same institution from July 2019 to July 2021. Prior experience includes a combined post-doctoral and residency program in Ophthalmology at the University of Michigan from May 2013 to July 2019, focusing on the molecular and cellular pathogenesis of dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD), aging retinal pigment epithelium, and cellular proteostasis during eye aging. Earlier training involved an Internal Medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente and extensive education at the University of California, San Francisco, culminating in an MD/PhD in Neuroscience as part of the Medical Scientist Training Program.
