Jon Kinsey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic management and advisory roles. As the Chief of Staff in the Office of The President at the University of Michigan since March 2023, Kinsey previously served as Chief of Staff in the College of Engineering and held various leadership positions across diverse organizations such as the University of Michigan Credit Union and the American Lightweight Materials Manufacturing Innovation Institute. An independent consultant since 2007, Kinsey engages with clients in market analysis and business development, notably for a Dubai-based retailer operating in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Corporate Strategy & Finance and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
