Amira Plaskett is a skilled Infection Preventionist at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Amira gained extensive experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the University of Maryland Medical System from April 2018 to August 2023 and as a traveling Medical Technologist with Aureus Medical Group from August 2017 to April 2018. Additional experience includes working as a Medical Laboratory Technologist and Laboratory Technician Assistant at Schneider Regional Medical Center from August 2015 to August 2017, and a Summer Intern at the Virgin Islands Cardiac Center in June 2010.
