Dan Michael Cortez is a seasoned academic and administrator currently serving as Vice President for Research, Academic and Extension Services and Associate Professor at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila since August 2019. Cortez previously held roles as Assistant Vice President managing the Information and Communications Technology Office, Assistant Dean overseeing the Office of Student Development and Services, and Chairperson of the Computer Science Department at De La Salle University. With a strong foundation in information technology and communications, Cortez has also served as Dean at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and as IT Faculty at Our Lady of Fatima University. Academic credentials include a Doctor in Information Technology and Master's degree from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the same institution.
