Samantha Perry is an experienced professional in media and social media strategy, currently serving as the Manager of Social Media Strategy at the University of Maine since August 2020. Previously, Samantha worked as a Motion Graphic Designer for UNC Global Storytelling and held various roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, including Donor Relations Assistant and Administrative Associate. Samantha's journalistic experience includes positions as a Reporter and Copy Desk Assistant at The Daily Tar Heel, as well as Co Editor at The Durham VOICE. Earlier career roles include Team Member at Total Wine & More and Insurance Representative at Travelers. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an Associate of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Durham Technical Community College.
