Andreas Husch is a Research Scientist and Principal Investigator at the University of Luxembourg since January 2018, leading the Junior Group "Imaging AI" at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine, with a focus on Computer Vision and Machine Learning in next-generation neurosurgery. Previous experience includes a position as PhD Student at the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg from 2014 to 2017, funded by an AFR PhD Grant from the Luxembourg National Research Fund. Earlier roles involved research assistance in projects related to neuromodulation and clinical workflows for brain tumor surgery at Trier University of Applied Sciences, along with a background in computational modeling and visualization. Andreas Husch holds a PhD from the University of Luxembourg and both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Trier University of Applied Sciences, alongside vocational training as an IT Specialist for Systems Integration at Bitburger Brauerei.
