Lauren Nelson serves as the VP and Research Director for the Infrastructure & Operations research team at Forrester, a position held since August 2008. In this role, Lauren is responsible for gathering client requirements and analyst insights to shape the research agenda focused on cloud computing, high-performance computing (HPC), and operations. Previously, Lauren was a Principal Analyst and the private IaaS cloud lead at Forrester, specializing in serving Infrastructure & Operations professionals. Earlier in the career, Lauren worked as a researcher on the same team, conducting extensive interviews and research reports. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Research Associate at Wellesley College, where Lauren also served as an Economics Tutor and Research Assistant. Lauren holds a B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College.
