Youmin Xi serves as Pro-Vice-Chancellor at the University of Liverpool since November 2008 and has been the Executive President of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University since August 2008. Additionally, Youmin Xi has held the position of management professor at Xi'an Jiaotong University since September 1993 and has also served as Vice President at the same institution. Youmin Xi earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in management engineering at Xi'an Jiaotong University from 1984 to 1987, a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering (management) from 1982 to 1984, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physics from Xi'an University of Science and Technology from 1978 to 1982.
