Amber R. Smith, PhD, serves as the Vice President for Student Experience, Success & Belonging at the University of Indianapolis since January 2020, where responsibilities include fostering a sense of belonging and improving student retention through various programs. Prior roles include leading equity and inclusion initiatives and retention strategies at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, focusing on student recruitment, retention, and graduation. With a background in educational program development and delivery, Amber has also served as an education presenter and corporate trainer. Amber holds a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Capella University, along with a Master's in Higher Education: College Student Affairs and a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
