Jamarco R. Clark, EdD, currently serves as the Interim Director of Athletics and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Illinois Springfield since June 2023. With a diverse background in higher education, Jamarco has held various leadership roles, including Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Leadership & Engagement at the University of Iowa from July 2020 to June 2023, and Director of Student Life at Indian Hills Community College from October 2018 to July 2020. Additional positions include Assistant Football Coach at Coe College, Director of Volunteerism & Service-Learning at Mount Mercy University, and Residence Hall Director at Truman State University. Jamarco holds a Doctor of Education in Student Affairs Administration & Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, a Master's Degree in Strategic Leadership from Mount Mercy University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Educational Foundations from Iowa Wesleyan University.
