Yong-Su Jin is a seasoned academic specializing in Food and Industrial Microbiology Research, currently serving as a Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since August 2008, where progression included roles as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. Prior to this, Yong-Su Jin worked as an Assistant Professor in Food Science and Biotechnology Research at Sungkyunkwan University from March 2006 to August 2008. A postdoctoral experience in Metabolic Engineering at MIT occurred from September 2002 to February 2006. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master’s Degree in Food Science and Technology from Seoul National University, and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from the same institution.
